Ingredients
- 1 store bought pizza crust (my favorite is Jus-Rol – just be sure whichever one you use is thawed and ready to bake!)
- 1/2 cup store bought pesto
- 2-3 cups freshly shredded mozarella cheese
- pepperonis (use as many as your heart desires, haha!)
- freshly grated parmensan, red pepper flakes and fresh basil for garnish
- generous drizzle of hot honey for topping!
Direction
- Preheat the oven to 425 (or to whatever your store bought pizza crust label says – (SEE NOTES!!!). Roll out the pizza crust onto a baking sheet or a pizza stone.
- Add the pesto and spread it out evenly onto the pizza crust. Freshly shred the mozzarella cheese and add on top followed by as many pepperoni slices as your heart desires. You can also layer the cheese and pepperoni slices if desired.
- Bake for 15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and crispy.
- Once it’s done, slice and eat up! Drizzle generously with hot honey and top with parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes and basil if desired. Enjoy!
