Ingredients
- 1 scoop (25 grams) chocolate protein powder
- 1 frozen banana, in chunks
- ½ Tablespoon cocoa powder
- ¾ cup milk (I used almond milk)
- 1 Tablespoon peanut butter, optional
- ½ Tablespoon chia seeds or ground flaxseed, optional*
- handful of ice
- whipped cream, optional
Instruction
- Add all ingredients into your blender except the whipped cream and blend until smooth.
- Pour into a glass, add a little whipped cream on top, if desired and enjoy.
Notes
- If you want to lower the sugar content, use less banana. I often do 1/2 of a banana instead of the whole banana. It’s not as creamy, but still good!
- Peanut butter is optional (and not included in the nutrition facts), but if you’re like me and love chocolate peanut butter flavor you can add it in. You can also use peanut butter powder for less calories and fat.
- Chia seeds or flaxseeds are also optional and not included in the nutrition facts.
