Ingredients
- Pizza Dough
- ¾ cup Pizza Sauce
- ¼ cup BBQ sauce
- ¾ cup BBQ chicken
- ½ cup red onoin finely diced
- 1 TBS chopped fresh cilantro
- 2 cup mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup cheddar cheese
Direction
- Put a pizza stone in the oven and preheat the oven to 500 degrees.
- Roll out the pizza dough to a 14” circle on a piece of parchment paper (for easy transfer to the pizza stone).
- Spread pizza sauce, then barbecue sauce evenly over the dough.
- Sprinkle 1 ¾ cups of mozzarella cheese and ¾ cups cheddar cheese over the sauce.
- Evenly distribute the chicken and diced onion, and cilantro (if desired) on top of the cheese.
- Add the remaining ¼ cup cheddar and ¼ cup mozzarella cheese on top of the topping.
- Use a pizza peel to transfer the pizza on the parchment paper onto the baking stone in the oven.
- Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 14-16 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Use the pizza peel to remove the pizza from the oven and transfer it to a wire cooling rack to cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
- Cut into pieces and serve warm.
