- 2 cups whole milk
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 4 large egg yolks
- 1 cup mixed berries (fresh or frozen)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C).
- Heat milk in a saucepan until steaming.
- Whisk egg yolks with sugar until thick.
- Gradually whisk in hot milk mixture.
- Stir in vanilla extract.
- Arrange berries in ramekins and pour custard over.
- Place ramekins in a baking dish with hot water halfway up the sides. Bake for 30-35 minutes. Chill before serving.
