- 1 pound turkey or chicken sausage, sliced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 1 small head cabbage, shredded
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add sliced sausage and cook until browned, about 5 minutes. Remove sausage from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add thinly sliced onion and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add shredded cabbage to the skillet. Cook, stirring occasionally, until cabbage is tender, about 8-10 minutes.
- Stir in paprika, dried thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Return cooked sausage to the skillet. Stir well to combine and cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Serve hot.
