Ingredients
- ½ cup chopped pear, frozen, (Bartlett or Anjou)
- ½ cup spinach
- ½ cup yogurt of choice
- ¼ cup milk of choice
- 1½ Tbsp almond butter, (or nut butter of choice)
- 2 tsp honey, to taste (or maple syrup)
- ¼ tsp fresh ginger, grated, (up to ½ tsp)
- ⅛ tsp cinnamon
- pinch of cardamom
Direction
- Chop fresh pear with the peel on and store in a freezer-safe container or bag. Freeze overnight, or for up to 12 months.
- To make smoothie, add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
- Serve with a straw and enjoy!
- Yields 12oz cinnamon pear & ginger smoothie.
