- 2 cups spinach or kale
- 2 green apples
- 1 cucumber
- 1 celery stalk
- 1 lemon
- 1 inch ginger (optional)
Instructions:
- Preparation: Wash all ingredients thoroughly. Core the apples and cut them into quarters. Peel the cucumber if desired. Peel the lemon and ginger.
- Juicing:
- Use a juicer to extract the juice from the spinach (or kale), apples, cucumber, celery, lemon, and ginger.
- If using a blender, blend all ingredients with a little water until smooth. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth.
- Straining:
- Pour the juice through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth to remove any pulp for a smoother texture.
- Serving:
- Serve immediately or chill in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
