Ingredients
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup ground almonds
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 2 cups white sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 ⅔ teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 teaspoons almond extract
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup milk
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 10-inch Bundt pan.

Beat in eggs, one at a time, then stir in vanilla and almond extract. Beat in flour mixture alternately with milk, mixing just until incorporated. Pour batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 60 to 70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes, then invert on a wire rack and cool for 10 more minutes.
- Meanwhile, make the glaze: Combine milk, sugar, almond extract, and almonds in a bowl.
- Set the wire rack and cake over a sheet of waxed paper. Pour glaze over warm cake.
