Ingredients
- 4-5 pieces of Chicken Tikka, roughly chopped
- 1 tsp chopped Ginger
- 1 tsp chopped Green Chilies
- 1 tbsp chopped Onions
- 2 tbsp chopped Coriander and Mint Leaves
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp Red Chili Powder
- 1/2 tsp Garam Masala Powder
- 1/2 cup Grated Cheese
- 1 tbsp Cheese Sauce or Mayonnaise
- Atta Dough
- Ghee or Oil for frying
Direction
Prepare the Stuffing
- Roughly chop the chicken tikka pieces and grind them until minced.
- In a bowl, combine the minced chicken tikka with chopped coriander and mint leaves, chopped onions, chopped green chilies, chopped ginger, salt, red chili powder, garam masala powder, grated cheese, and cheese sauce or mayonnaise. Mix everything well to combine.
Prepare the Dough
- Take some wheat flour (atta) and knead it with water and salt to make a smooth dough.
Assemble the Parathas
- Take a small portion of the dough and roll it into a ball. Flatten the ball into a round shape, keeping the edges thicker than the center.
- Place a generous amount of the prepared tikka stuffing in the center of the dough.
- Fold the edges of the dough over the stuffing, sealing it completely. Shape it into a ball again.
- Dust the ball with some flour and roll it out into a flat roti shape.
Cook the Parathas
- Heat a tawa or griddle over medium heat and let it get hot.
- Place the rolled-out paratha onto the hot tawa and cook it for a few minutes on one side until it starts to puff up.
- Flip the paratha and cook the other side, applying ghee or oil on both sides until golden brown spots appear.
- Repeat the process for the remaining dough and stuffing to make more parathas.
Serve
- Serve the hot and delicious chicken tikka parathas with your favorite chutney, yogurt, or pickle. Enjoy the flavorful and filling treat!
