- 2 cups whole milk
- 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
- 4 large egg yolks
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C).
- Heat milk in a saucepan until steaming.
- Whisk egg yolks with maple syrup until smooth.
- Gradually whisk in hot milk mixture.
- Stir in vanilla extract.
- Strain into ramekins and bake in a water bath for 45-50 minutes. Chill before serving.
