- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
- Green food coloring (optional)
Instructions:
- In a bowl, whisk together the milk and sugar until the sugar is dissolved.
- Stir in the cream, peppermint extract, and a few drops of green food coloring if desired.
- Chill the mixture for at least 2 hours.
- Pour into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- During the last 5 minutes of churning, add the mini chocolate chips.
- Transfer to a container and freeze until firm.
