- 1 lb ground beef or lamb
- 1 cup diced onion
- 1 cup diced carrots
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 3 cups mashed potatoes (prepared)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, cook ground beef or lamb with onion and carrots until browned.
- Stir in tomato paste, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and peas. Cook until thickened.
- Season with salt and pepper. Transfer to a baking dish.
- Spread mashed potatoes over the meat mixture. Smooth with a spatula.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until the top is golden and the filling is bubbling.
